I came across this story last night about a family who has been driving around the world for the past 11 years! Wow. A couple started out driving from Argentina to Alaska and after that they must have been hooked. Now they've added 4 kids to the caravan and have spent time in Korea, Japan and Australia besides the Americas. Did I mention they drive a 1928 car that doesn't go over 40 mph? Double wow. The article and this family fascinates me. What do you think? Does a never-ending road trip sound like a dream or a nightmare to you?
It would be a facinating trip. Not sure how you raise children out of a car. All I know is the lesson of not being attached to posessions would have to be lived.They are following their dream.

Actually, I cannot imagine doing this in a 1928 auto. We are so used to our CD's or music or audio books that we use to pass the time as we drive. I wonder how they support themselves.
