* Sunday, July 6: The historic Harkin Store will celebrate our great nation with the firing of a cannon and refreshments. The New Ulm Battery will start off the afternoon with the firing of the old 1862 cannon every half hour and on the hour along with enjoying cold treats. Harkin Store is located nine miles northwest of New Ulm on Nicollet County Road 21 and is operated by the Nicollet County Historical Society.

A 150-mile motorcycle memorial ride to honor Brent Koch, Kyle Miller and Josh Schmit from Willmar American Legion and end up in Redwood Falls at the American Legion. Registration begins at 8:30 am, take off at 10:30 am, $20.00 per person to ride. There will also be raffles. All proceeds will go towards sholarships in the soldier's names.
