Adele has never confirmed that she and Rich Paul are married, but during her Las Vegas show on May 17, she referred to Paul's daughter as "my stepdaughter."
In a fan-captured video, Adele is seen onstage saying, "It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend. Her name is Reonna and she's graduating from Clark tomorrow in Atlanta. So, I love you, darling. Congratulations.”
Adele also noted that Reonna is the first member of her family to graduate from college, adding, "How amazing is that? It’s a f****** vibe. So they’re all in Atlanta, and they’re celebrating her. And obviously I’m here with you — wouldn’t be anywhere else — but I love you, baby. I love you!”
Adele and Paul, a sports agent, have been dating since 2021.
During the same show, according to the Daily Mail, Adele announced, "Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy." Adele shares 11-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
"I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world," Adele continued. "That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she? With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Selena Gomez's new film, Emilia Pérez, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, and it was a rousing success.
Variety reports the film earned a nine-minute standing ovation, which was, at that point, the longest of any other film at the festival. According to Variety, Selena cried at the reaction from the crowd.
Emilia Pérez is about a Rita, a lawyer played by Zoe Saldaña, who helps Manitas, a drug cartel leader, played by Karla Sofía Gascón, get gender-affirming surgery to become a woman. Selena plays Manitas' wife, who doesn't know of her husband's plans to transition. The actors sing at various points in the film.
“It was captivating, it was heartbreaking, it was really moving to me,” Selena told Variety of the film, which she saw for the first time at the Cannes screening. "I had a blast and I love the songs. I think they’re really beautiful.”
Selena wrote on Instagram, "Thank you Cannes! I’m so honored to be a small part of something so special in Emilia Pérez." She also thanked director Jacques Audiard "from the bottom of my heart for believing in me," as well as her co-stars: "Every single person a part of this film absolutely blew me away. Love you guys."

After seven years, Katy Perry marked her final night as a judge on American Idol Sunday.
During the show, the top 12 female contestants performed several of Katy's hits, while a montage of the singer's years on the show was screened behind them. Katy also took the stage to perform the song "What Makes a Woman" from her 2020 album, Smile, with finalist Jack Blocker.
During the performance, Katy rose high in the air on a platform, revealing a massive skirt made up of photos of the contestants she's judged over the years. She concluded the performance by saying, "1-4-3. I Love You." "1-4-3" refers to the number of letters in each of those three words.
And Katy being Katy, during the show she also tossed a slice of pizza into the audience for fans to catch.
Katy's finale dress featured a sculpted gold metal bodice with seven roses, one for each season.
Also during the big finale, a new American Idol champ was crowned — Abi Carter — and the all-star lineup of guest performers included Jon Bon Jovi, Seal, Jason Mraz, Hootie & the Blowfish and New Kids on the Block.

Taylor Swift has now officially spent a whole month at #1 with The Tortured Poets Department. The album tops the Billboard 200 chart for a fourth consecutive week, selling 260,000 units. It's the first album to spend its first four weeks on top since Travis Scott's Utopia in 2023.
Meanwhile, Taylor continued her Eras Tour over the weekend in Stockholm, Sweden. At the 89th show of the tour on May 18, she performed a mashup of three 1989 songs: "Clean," "Welcome to New York" and "Say Don't Go."
Taylor also debuted "Guilty as Sin?" and "How Did It End" from Tortured Poets, and played what she called a Max Martin medley — a mashup of songs she co-wrote with Martin and fellow Swedish hitmaker Shellback: "Message in a Bottle," "How You Get the Girl" and "New Romantics."
Incidentally, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, spent the weekend in Kansas City, Kansas, hosting his Kelce Jam music festival, featuring Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Diplo, as well as a guest appearance by Patrick Mahomes.
While doing press for the festival, Travis revealed that his favorite "era" of the Eras Tour is generally 1989, but noted, "I’m not gonna lie: I might be a little biased towards The Tortured Poets Department, just little bit.”
Travis was likely referring to the fact that some of the songs on that album were inspired by his and Taylor's relationship. When asked what his favorite song from Tortured Poets is, he told People it was "So High School," the song that's most obviously about him.
Taylor's Eras Tour continues May 24 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Ed Sheeran, Adele and Harry Styles are among the 40 richest people in the U.K. who are under the age of 40, according to The Sunday Times' annual Rich List.
Ed Sheeran is the highest-ranked musician on the paper's 40 under 40 list: He's #10 overall, with an estimated net worth of $432 million. He earned $79 million alone from the first half of his ongoing Mathematics tour, which launched last year.
Harry Styles is next on the list at #17, with an estimated net worth of $222 million. He raked it in from touring stadiums all over the world, starring in movies and releasing chart-topping albums.
Adele comes in at #19, with $216 million in net worth. Unlike other artists, she doesn't have a side hustle in clothing or cosmetics: that money's all from album sales and performing live.
The final artist on the 40 under 40 list is Dua Lipa, who's in at #29 with a net worth of $114 million, thanks to album sales, her involvement in the hit Barbie soundtrack and her burgeoning acting career. She's also an ambassador for a few well-known brands and has starred in the campaigns for a number of others, all of which adds up.
The richest person under 40 in the U.K. is a guy named Hughie Grosvenor aka the Duke of Westminster. He inherited a fortune of about $16 billion.

She worked late 'cause she's a singer: Sabrina Carpenter gives 'SNL' "Espresso," "Nonsense" and more
Sabrina Carpenter customized her songs specifically for her first-ever Saturday Night Live performance -- and appeared in a sketch, to boot.
Even before her first performance on the May 18 episode, Sabrina appeared in a pre-filmed sketch called Scooby Doo and the Mystery of the Shadow Phantom, which cast her as Daphne opposite host Jake Gyllenhaal's Freddie, Mikey Day's Shaggy, Sarah Sherman's Velma and a CGI Scooby Doo. They unmasked the bad guy, but then things got super-dark, disgusting and bloody. Everyone ended up dead, except Daphne.
For her first performance, Sabrina sang her massive hit "Espresso," which began with her sitting in a bar reading a newspaper. The headline read "Sabrina Loves to Be On Top!," with another story headlined, "That 'Me Espresso' Sparks Debate on Literacy." She then performed the song while two male dancers pretended to fight over her, and changed the f-word to "damn."
Her second performance was a mash-up of "Feather" and "Nonsense." When she got to the line in "Feather" that goes "I got you blocked, excited to never talk / I, I'm so sorry for your loss," she changed it to "I got you blocked / excited to never talk / I, I'm on SNL and you're not!"
She then transitioned into the outro of "Nonsense," and as usual, she added some event-specific lyrics. Although they're a bit too suggestive to quote, you can see the performance on YouTube.

Olivia Rodrigo's debut album, SOUR, just hit a major milestone. It's now the all-time highest-streaming album by a female artist on Spotify. "woahhh!!! so cool!!! cannot thank you guys enough," Olivia wrote on her Instagram Story.
Sabrina Carpenter is serving up even more "Espresso." The pop star has released an EP filled with remixes of the hit song. The Espresso EP includes a series of all new takes on the track, including "Double Shot Version," "Decaf Version," "On Vacation Version," "Mochapella Version" and "Espressooooo Version."
Ariana Grande's "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" has made it to #1 on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart. This marks Ari's 10th Pop Airplay #1 and makes her only the sixth artist with 10 or more leaders on the list.
Billie Eilish is back with a new album, and that also means she's back with new merch. Two exclusive editions of her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, are now available at Target. Fans can get the Target-exclusive CD and vinyl, as well as two Target-exclusive T-shirts. One shirt features a graphic print of the album's cover, while the other has a photo of Billie and is printed on a unisex oversized tee.
