(St. Paul, MN) -- The closing ceremony of the tenth-annual Red Ribbon Ride is today at the State Capitol. Organizers hope to raise 450-thousand dollars for the fight against H-I-V/AIDS. More than 220 bicyclists are riding nearly 300 miles over the next four days. Executive director Theresa Fetsch says the money raised will go to eight AIDS service organizations in the state. The Red Ribbon Ride is the second largest multi-day event for H-I-V/AIDS in the U-S.
