Emily Lamb's Bio

I grew up on our family's farm near Hector. My brothers and I mowed lawn, picked rocks, drove tractor and mostly enjoyed ourselves. For college, I moved to Pensacola, FL with beautiful beaches and hurricanes. After college I took a few courses and lived in Colorado Springs with Pikes Peak and snow days. And yet to find a job, I had to come home to MN with green fields and 10,000+ lakes. I started working for Q102 part-time in 2006 and was hired full-time a while later. One of my favorite parts of the job is playing and singing along to great music and discovering random facts about the song or artist.

When I was young, I wanted to be? a teacher, marine biologist or singer in a band

Alma Mater - as the first child and "guinea pig" I went to public, private and homeschool. Graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Broadcasting and a minor in vocal music.

Family - Mom, Dad and two younger brothers

Favorite CD/Album/Digital Download - I love so many songs and my favorites change often. Some of my favorite artists are Ingrid Michaelson, The Fray, Muse, Casting Crowns, Tenth Avenue North.
