More credit card debt? Or more savings?

We were talking about this story on the air and so far, it seems most of our listeners have more savings! Way to go!
More than half the people in the U.S. say they have more money in emergency savings than in credit card debt, according to the latest poll by Bankrate.com. The consumer financial services company's Financial Security Index survey for February finds 54-percent of Americans say their emergency savings are higher than their credit card balances. That's up slightly from a year ago. One in four Americans has more credit card debt than emergency savings, which is also slightly higher than last February's figure.

"Brady-ing"

A new Internet fad in the mold of "Tebowing" has sprung up in the wake of the New England Patriots' Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants called "Bradying," named after Pats quarterback Tom Brady. People doing this are shown sitting on the floor with their legs stretched out, hands folded between their legs and head bowed, in imitation of the dejected image of Brady sitting on the field after his team's loss on Sunday (February 5th). A website dedicated to "Bradying" is helping spread the fad.

You Be the Judge: Superbowl Ticket for Ex-girlfriend?

Here's the full story. Let us know if you think the Super Bowl ticket rightfully should go to the ex-girlfriend.

Jason Elia of Nashville had the perfect Super Bowl weekend planned with his girlfriend.
He bought two tickets to the big game and was going to surprise her with a marriage proposal during the game. His girlfriend was super excited about their trip.
But then, real life got in the way. Jason went to the doctor for some tests and was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
Fortunately he had the love and support of his girlfriend, right? Wrong. She dumped him.
That's right; she fed him a line about not being able to handle the stress of having a boyfriend with cancer and tossed him to the curb.
Adding insult to injury, she's demanding her Super Bowl tickets.
Jason says she calls him every day demanding the tickets, arguing that he bought them for her so she should have them.
Jason says there's no chance she's getting those tickets -- and is actually giving them away to one of his Twitter follows.

What do you think? timandchris@yourq102.com

2/2/12 The FOLLOW-UP:
Jason Elia told ESPN 97.5 radio in Houston that he was dumped because his girlfriend couldn't handle the 'stress' of having a partner with a chronic disease - and when pushed for the ex-girlfriend's identity, gave the Twitter handle of Sokhon Sen.
However, Miss Sen told Mail Online that her reputation has been falsely dragged through the mud by a man she only met once.
She says there were no Superbowl tickets and there were no demands. Most importantly, she says, there was no breakup because there was never a relationship.
She doesn't even care about the Superbowl, she says.
Miss Sen believes Mr Elia is making the entire story up to get attention.
When Miss Sen found out about the allegations that Mr Elia was making, she confronted him in a series of e-mails obtained by Mail Online.
Mr Elia replied. "WHAT DO YOU THINK HE SAID? (tease)
He doesn't deny that he made up the story and doesn't deny that he was talking about her -- he only says that he never intended to identify her on air.
But wait…he IS standing by his story. In an e-mail to Mail Online he said the woman he was referring as his ex-girlfriend was not Miss Sen.
